This movie was pure gold to watch. I don’t know exactly what to say about this movie. The premise is simple. The story spans five days that a reporter from Rolling Stones, David Lipsky, spends with David Foster Wallace, at the end of Wallace’s book tour. Sounds like it might be boring, but the life and realism that Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Segal breathe into their characters is astounding. The dialogue between the two characters is immersive and so, well, REAL. Great actors both, and overall just a great movie. Go watch it right now.
